The EIS-Meter V10 is a further development of the successful impedance spectrometers from SIVONIC.
The EIS-Meter has been optimized for even lower impedances in the micro-ohm range [µΩ] as well as for voltages of up to 1,000 V.
This makes the EIS-Meter the ideal impedance spectrometer for the investigation of batteries and fuel cells and electrolyzers.
The measurement of low impedances is made possible by a novel modulator (galvanostat) that generates modulation currents of ± 20 A, ± 40 A and ± 60 A. What is realized in other devices via separate boosters is here an integral part of the EIS-Meter.
The optimization for high voltages makes tough demands on the design of the electrical connections. Dielectric strength is guaranteed for all components. It is now possible to synchronously measure entire fuel cell stacks and battery packs as well as individual cells within the stack.
